Thank you all sincerely for all the good advice extended. Some good points I've jotted and do plan to use.

Actually, I was taking a very active role in Gurdwara Sahib Seva. But, it got to the point where I had no energy left for my children. I do Kirtan/Paath, attend Kirtan/Paath, push the kids very little.

It would be *wonderful* to have some sort of national Single Sikh Parents (SSP???) Group. Perhaps if there are others out there like myself, we could give each other the little boost to better raise out children. There is only one other single Sikh parent where I live so that's why it may be best to have something national. If there are any others out there, please do write and perhaps we can organize something. And, I've written to the person who wrote "Single Sikh Parents" as well.
