Is it wrong to be a gangsta and a sikh? I grew up in a rough community and yeah i slang on the side ... but I'm a sikh... I believe in god, I try to be a good person, I take care of people, People that need a hand i Give them money, I try to do as much as I can to help people.. Does that make me a bad person?

Also I wanna add... just some criticism for ya'll responding to ppls questions, most of these kids asking questions... are young people looking for a practical solution... All this talk about the spirit and looking into your soul and all this stuff, no offence but thats not what a young guy needs to hear... I would respond to someone questioning to MAN UP and be a sher, i mean isnt it true SHERAN DA KOM PUNJABI, or is it bad to believe that too... Also that last question abotu sheran da kom, it would be interesting to hear the response from a gora singh and a punjabi singh

thanks ... again no offence just curious what your takes are on things

We don't get to judge each other. Your path is unique to you. Your Sikhi is between you and your Guru. The only thing you have to do is this:

gur sathigur kaa jo sikh akhaaeae s bhalakae outh har naam dhiaavai |
One who calls himself a Sikh of the Guru, the True Guru, shall rise in the early morning hours and meditate on the Lord's Name.

Upon arising early in the morning, he is to bathe, and cleanse himself in the pool of nectar.

One who meditates on my Lord, Har, Har, with every breath and every morsel of food - that GurSikh becomes pleasing to the Guru's Mind.
