This shabd is the last thing in SGGS. As far as I can tell, it is a poetic explanation of the Raga structure. In India (long before Sikhi!) the raga structure was developed; it involves both poetry, rythym, meter, and musical style. Each raga style has sub-styles; each raga is supposed to be done at certain times of day as opposed to others. The raga structure is considered sacred and is a lifelong study by ragis and musicians. If someone out there can add to this reply, please do!

(PS: SOmehow, Gurmukhi cut and pasted doesn't stay Gurmukhi in the Youth Forum, so I deleted those parts.)
