Can Sikhnet moderators explain why they have such ads on this very site if thats not what they wanna support at any cost not at cost of getting finances for their site also??

Sikhnet was created to help educate people about the beautiful messages our Gurus brought to humanity. At the same time Sikhnet is not here to misrepresent anyone or try to present a distorted picture who people are. My personal experience of seeing the beautiful sevadars at the Golden Temple was so profound that it has been indelibly and eternally recorded in my mind, and I cannot imagine any more beautiful specimen of human beings of the male gender on this earth than those I have seen in the magnificent form created by Guru Gobind Singh. I do wonder why any woman would not seek a man of such strength and beauty. Perhaps, as more women learn about the Guru's teachings they will recognize the weakness in cutting of hair and shaving. This practice, after all, was reserved only for slaves for millennia, as a sign of people who had been conquered. These days, I see the practice as a sign of domination in other ways, such as of the mind and awareness of our free will and inner strength. The Guru's teachings were never meant to serve as controls over people, but they are gifts for humanity, bringing great rewards when we but receive them. Each and every person learns and grows according to his or her own choosing. That is why Sikhs do not proselytize or condemn people who make different choices than our own.
