I remember your situation. I believe that you experienced an untimely death of a very special loved one. It is OK to grieve and feel the sadness of your loss. However, since all is in the will of God, at some point you must move on and heal and continue with your life.

By the grace of God and Guru, you have the power of Guru's bani to help you. For building up your strength of projection and for self esteem recite "Jaap Sahib" daily aloud with full focus. The formation of the sounds from Guru Gobind Singh's bani is very empowering. Remember, he transformed the sparrows into hawks.

You must transcend this feeling that you are failing. You contain God and all the powers of God lie within your human body. God created you perfect. You must, however, mine these treasures by aplying yourself daily. Remember, the flip side of failure is success. So flip yourself.

Tomorrow, and for the next 40 days, Get up in the morning, one and 1/2 hour earlier. Take a cold shower, called "hydrotherapy" (you can search the youth forum for this procedure). Then, 1) take a brisk walk while reciting "Mool Mantra" out loud for 30 minutes......or, do jumping jacks and pushups...to engage your navel center and breathe deeply for 11 munites.
2)Sit down and recite Jaap Sahib out loud with full concentration.
3)next lay down and relaxing deeply while listening to some repetitive simran on the tape machine for 11 minutes.
4)Stand up and do an ardas, ask for Guru to heal you and bless you.
5)Take a hukam in English (and Gurmukhi) but be sure you can understand what Guru is saying to you.

Start as slowly or as quickly as you can. Gradually you will feel better and your troubles will fly away.

May God and Guru bless you with all mastery that is contained within the gift of this human body.
