Jus wonderin..

Is it considered a sin when u use a kada to fight with someone? Most likely yes, but to wut extent?

When we pass do we meet god immediately? and does everyone get to meet god? Like for say, im not an amrithari but i try to do paath in the ambroasial hours but i dont get a chance to do it all the time. I dont eat much meat or do any kinda of drugs or drink alchohol or anything. Im generally a good kid but im not amrith shuk. But i plan to do so in the near future, just want to learn the paath and stuff. Would i get to meet waheguru?

When is Kulyug supposed to be over? Are you aware of the exact date by any chance?

Is it a greater sin to be amrith shuk and do a sin or do not be amrit shuk and do a sin?

Please could u answer back soon i would greatly appreciate it. Thnx

Dear Beautiful Sikh of the Guru,
Thank you for writing to Sikhnet. You are great to rise early and recite your banis. Doing this you will experience your own understanding of all of your questions. Here are my responses.

Regarding your question about fighting, Guru Gobind Singh perfectly described the appropriate application for the use of force. He said that when every peaceful means of resolution has failed it is pious and just to raise the sword. This means that we are obligated to become expert diplomats so that we are capable of resolving conflict through peaceful means and negotiation, without having to resort to the use of force. It also means we are wise to learn martial arts and become trained in the use of weapons so that we are capable of protecting ourselves and others, if the need arises.

Regarding your question about death, the first thing Guru Nanak taught to his Sikhs was Ek Ong Kar, there is One Creator of this Creation and the Creator and Creation are One. All things come from God and all things go to God. The Siri Guru Granth Sahib says that the thought that is on our mind at the moment of death determines what happens to us after death. Guruji says to chant God's Name day and night. In this way, just as a rock floats when it it placed in a boat, so we will be carried across the world ocean to merge with our Creator by attaching our minds to God's Name. When you chant Sat Nam, Wahe Guru each waking moment, your mind will automatically chant when you leave your body at the moment of death.

I have not heard of an exact date for the end of the Kali Yug. Guru Nanak has been called the Guru for the Aquarian Age. He taught us to chant the Mul Mantra, the beginning of JapJi Sahib, and doing this we help to usher in the Age of Aquarius. It helps us to create the highest destiny for ourselves and the world.

The gift of receiving Amrit provides you with the tools and technology to radiantly and magnificently serve the Guru mission, and while we are here on this earth to learn, and sometimes make mistakes, it is certainly wise and good to accept and make use of the Guru’s gift of taking Amrit. Sat Nam. God bless you. -GMK
