Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

Dear moderators,

I would firstly like to thank you for your wonderful work; it is very helpful for us younger people trying to grow up in a world that looks upon religiousness and God as a pointless pursuit.

I have a problem. I have found that as I have been growing up, I'm becoming more and more sceptical of believing in the Sakhis of the Gurus. They've become legendary stories to me, and I don't know why. I still derive great enjoyment from doing Keertan, Simran and Paath. In fact, I still enjoy reading the sakhis my parents have told me from when I was a child.

But at the same time, I can't seem to be able to shake this feeling of non-belief from inside of me. I don't have the ability to believe unquestioningly in the sakhis, or the Gurus.

The story gets worse. Sometimes I find myself wondering if there really is a God. This is happening despite the fact, as I have already mentioned above, that I enjoy doing Simran, Keertan and Paath.

I don't know what to do and the fear of losing my belief and faith really scares me. So I'm asking you for advice.

Thank you in advance for your assisstance.

Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa
Waheguru Ji ki Fateh!

Everything is normal. This is just the duality of the mind. The mind always analyzes everything. It is a standard situation. If you let your mind lead you, you will always be in trouble. That is what Guru Ji calls Manmukh. Your mind is the moon. It reflects the light of the sun. Your heart is the sun. It shines its light on the moon. Your mind must serve you. It is so powerful. It creates one lakh of thoughts in the blink of an eye. Wondering, analyzing and thinking is an endless process.

Just open your heart. Tune in to the Shabd Guru. Bow your head and let go of your doubts. Go to Guru Ji, sit on your knees and bow your head to the floor. Sit like that for 30 minutes with your forehead on the floor. Give all your doubts to the Guru and let him handle it.

Many blessings

.....G
