Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.

I am an Amritdhari sikh and Iam proud to be a sikh . Iknow the greatness of my
religion so when I hear someone joking on the sikh saroop,I get very angry .
Infact I lose my temper to such an extent that I sometimes use bad language for
those making jokes . I have talked to them so many times & have told them about the reasons for having such saroop i.e. having long hair for men too. Plz tell
me what should I do?

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh
I understand your problem and alot of people are prejudice and feel that you look funny or often make offensive jokes. I used to be picked on aswell when I was in school and I used to be the only one who wore a paag. My opinion on this is to simply ignore them and walk away. If you swear, it will just make you as bad as them. Just think that you are Guru Gobind Singh Ji's child, and that no one can hurt you and Guru Gobind Singh is with you all the way. What I often do is, I do naam simran as I am walking down the halls or where ever I am, and if anyone makes a bad comments, I wont even hear it because I am too busy concentrating on my simran.
I hope this helped, and good luck
