Hello,

I know there’s thousands of questions regarding caste and you say ignore caste and follow your heart and parents will come around.

Well I have told my parents about my boyfriend who is a sikh Kamboh and me a Jatt, they have said no to us getting married and all bcoz of caste, i took your last advise and got him to come round for tea but it still didnt work, I have even tried to get his family over but my mum just didnt open the door to them.

What I wanted to know is shall I follow my heart and marry his anyway as I know im 100% sure we are meant to be or shall I leave him and do as my parents say, wait for them to find me a boy to marry, which may takes a few years.

Parents or lover?

I can not have both and there is no ways my parents will agree as they have the hole family backing and they have all turned against me.
