In response to the questions asked my sisters/ bothers abotu looking for a site with translations with no success, there are 2 excellent site that i know abotu and use regularly:

the first one is www.allaboutsikhs.com which has the translations of both asa di vaar and shabad hazareh, it also has other bani's such as dukh bhanjan sahib etc. It is a very useful and resourcefull site with lots of chardi kala sakhis on there which are not only about sikh men but also heroic sikh women.

the second site is www.sikhitothemax.com, which has the whole of the guru granth sahib jee online and people can easily seach for any shabad.
