What happens to us when we die?

Sat SIri Akaal. (1) our bodies decompose and as Sikhs they are cremated. (2) our spirit is returned to merge in Waheguru. If it is not time for this to happen, we exist without PHYSICAL body on another, spiritual plane of existence. At some point we might take physical form again. What determines the when and what of this is not something I can say for fact here, so I won't. (3) Our soul is immortal, it is that part of us that never dies, and that may or may not have a physical embodiment. All this to say that the BODY dies but our essence, our soul never dies.
