i know its not good but i drink, i hav neva smoked n neva will smoke or take drugs, but i do drink, i dont do much paat as in from a gutka but i do do nam simran etc, i hav never cut my hair but i do shave, i no i shudnt but my parents accept it and the day i shaved i did a sau that i wud never cut the hair on my head because to me that is what matters. i have a lot of respect for sikhi in that sense but dont follow things through as i should. what does this make me? sum ppl say im not reali a sikh but i class myself as a singh, not a propa 1 i no, bt still a singh! other still respect me 4 havin m patka etc, so what do u think??

(REPLY) Sat Nam. The real question is, "What do you, in your heart of hearts, in the depths of your soul, think?" What I think or anyone else thinks is beside the point. Each of us has a direct relationship with our Guru, and our conscience has to tell us whether we are doing our best to follow God's will and Guru's guidance. SP
