i dont know what to do, i dont even know how to explain it but im feeling empty for some reason, and im getting lazy in my sikhi. It really difficult to explain..but its like im bored and frustrated but i dont know why. Ive been trying to figure it our for ages now. What prayers should i do? I know i havent told u much of the problem but i really cant explain it. Its feelings of emptiness. My sikhi is going downhill. i Love my sikhi but if i love it so much wouldn't i be more motivated to read more and learn more and do more paath? im confused. Im not sure how u can help but i have noone else to turn to and i would not know how to explain it. All i know is that i should be doing someting but i dont know what. I dont have the motivatin to do anything, i want to be more advanced in my sikhi but im not doing anything about it, i feel so strange and empty..what paath should i do for guidance???

(REPLY) Sat Nam. This may not sound like an an answer, because it is a question: how old are you? The reason I'm asking is that if you are a teen ager, then the changes you go through as you grow could tend to make you listless and bring the symtoms you describe. If you are a young adult, then it is possibly you're in that stage in spiritual life sometimes called the "dark night of the soul" when you've lost enthusiasm, and just don't want to continue with your spiritual practice. That having been said, my best suggestion is for you to repeat (sing if you can! because singing Guru's shabd definitely will uplift your spirits) the DHAN DHAN RAM DAS GURU shabd at least 11 times a day. That is so that the vibration will sink in to your subconscious and your conscious mind. Also, do an Ardas before you start chanting, pray to have your devotion restored. and ask for inspiration.
