WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH!

Khalsa Ji...my life (at least i feel this way) is one sad story filled with miseries...now i have started to think that if i take Amrit i will be fine...i know that one shouldn't hurry in taking Amrit...as in take it without knowing the significance...but i don't know what to do...i don't know if my family approves of it (my family is Punjabi Brahmin-Hindu)...may be my reason right now for thinking this way is that i am a little sick of my life...when i do the Banis i feel better...yes i definitely do!...i feel on top of the world i must say!...i hope to try hard sticking to the Banis and meditation...in one of your responses u said "May God bless you to take Amrit when Guru says 'its time'"...which means that Guru commands us from within when to take Amrit...i just felt like expressing myself and know whats best...for now, all i can understand is that i must hold on to my faith in Guru by way of doing the Banis...WaheGuru bless all the moderators for paving the way to Sikhi for the youth!

Sat Sri Akaal!

Dear One:

Sat Siri Akaal! Yes, keep doing those banis. Also add in some Naam Simran and you will feel EVEN better.
I have one thing to add: Amrit is a PERSONAL matter between you and Guru, not you, Guru, and your family. Of course, it helps to have family support, but if you wish to be baptized and you DON'T have family support, that should not stop you. Don't let it stop you!
May you be blessed to take Amrit when Guru says 'its time'!
