Summary of Question:	Interruption During Nitnem Ok?

waheguru ji ki Fateh

I wanted to know if its a sin to stop the nitnem in the middle due to interruptions like telephone, answering the door, etc... ?

Jio, it is not a 'sin'. Bani recitation is about conciousness. Be concious of your space when you recite bani. When possible make it a quiet space. I realize that is not always possible. Also make an effort to recite Nitnaym at a time when you will not be interrupted, or alternately avoid the interruptions. I have let the phone ring to voicemail in order to avoid interrupting bani. In any event, it is still better to recite bani and be interrupted than not to recite at all!
