Does being a member of the khalsa family give gursikhs (?) the right to judge others in their community by their own standards?

I ask this question as in my personal experience i have met many sikhs that are baptised into the religion but dont follow their beliefs to the letter of the law, (as this would intefere with their western lives) but still assume they have the right to preach to others and believe that they are better than everyone else.
I always thought that our religion was unique as it preaches to understand and respect everyones beliefs and the gursikh to be statue of these philosophies not an enforcer of his/her personal opinion!!!!!!

Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa.
Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh.

Remember that sangat is a spiritual practice, too. Being together as a community requires developing tolerance for one another because Guruji is guiding each and everyone of us along our spiritual path. And He is so great, that He uses us to be tools for polishing each other.

One of the most difficult aspects of living in sangat is what happens when you see someone doing something that offends your own sense of what being a Sikh means. In that moment, the most precious gift you can give to yourself is the gift of non-judgement. you cannot do anything to change or control another person. But you can develop tolerance within yourself so that you do not judge them. This will give you tremendous self-control over yourself and, in the long run, help make you a successful person in every aspect of life.

Remember the words of Guru Nanaak when he said in Japji, "Let the control of the self become your conquest of the world." Sangat is an opportunity to develop that self-control.

Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa.
Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh.
