SSA,

i just read a post on kachi Bani by Baba Ranjit Singh Ji Dadhrian Wale.could you please tell me what exactly is kachi Bani, and where has it evolved from.my second question is quite weird, but my Nani Mama Ji told me that Baba Ranjit Singh ji speaks to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, is that true.

Kachi Bani means it is not authentic. Sometimes people will write their own songs and sing them. These songs are not from Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Also, the SGPC has certain standards which designate some writings as Kachi Bani.

You can speak to Guru Gobind Singh. Why not talk to himn in your ardas? Guru Gobind SIngh spoke to the Sadh Sangat before his passing and said if you want to meet him or hear him speak.......go to the Siri Guru Granth Sahib and you will see him and hear him.
