waheguru ji ka khalsa

waheguru ji ki fateh
i read the meaning of this shabd.
it says other dances would onlt give temporary pleasure.i mean i understand that performing bhangra or gidha would give only satisfaction for that time but for u r life bhangra wont lead u r life.
but for those who are proffesional for whom bhangra is business,
so does it means we should avoid cultural dances like bhangra.
i mean some people like to dance some dont and hence those people who love to dance are made like this by nature that they like to dance.
I love to do bhangra on stage and whenever i am in mood.I love the way i was brought up in punjab and i love my religion and proud of my great gurus.its great.
does guruji says here that we should avoid joyfull life.
plzz do help i m so confused
thnkx

Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa
Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh.

You love to dance because God gave you a love of dancing. You have a talent for it because God made you with the talent. Siri Guru Granth Sahib is incredibly joyful about life. The key is to just remember who gave you the love and the gifts, that's all. Dancing is temporary, but that's also a metaphor that life is temporary. The eternal dance is the dance of the soul. So the key is to enjoy the temporary dance without loosing sight of the eternal dance.

In the simplest approach, you can just do this. Whenever you feel the joy of dancing, just say, "Thank you God for giving me the gift of dancing and the gift of enjoying it." That's all. This is what Guruji instructs us to do-to remember with love the One who gave us this precious gift of life with every breath.

Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa,
Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh.
