my name is kiran and i am a male...as of now. i am gay, and i want to have a sex change. is this rigt in sikhy?

In Sikhee, we accept the body given to us as a gift from God. We respect this gift of this human body and we care for it and mine its treasures of God consciousness. We do not alter the body gift, but care for it.

Before pursuing thoughts of a sex change, check with the medical doctor to see if you were born with a neutral sex, that is, with both male and female organs and chromosomes. If this is not the case, then get some psychological counseling to help you deal with this desire of needing to change your gender.

Bottom line best thing to do is not worry so much about sex and absorb yourself in Guru's bani.....and find a kundalini yoga class in your area(www.3ho.org), to help you balance your chakras. You will feel better about yourself. I think, ultimately, you need to find the way to feel good about yourself, no matter who or what you are.
