Vahiguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vahiguru Ji Ki Fateh

Dear GurSikh Ji, i was wondering whether you could help me understand something that i experienced a while back which has left me with many questions.
i am Amritdhari (and have been for a few years now). i try to be a Gursikh, but fail often due to my own undoings! anyhow, i was waiting for a Gursikh friend at a train station and to pass my time i was looking at items for sale in a shop window. out of the corner of my eye (in the reflection of the window), i saw a gentleman walking past looking at me wearing full saffron coloured Bana. as customary, i turned around to give Guru Ji's Fateh, but when i saw the person in front of me, he was clean-shaven and looked at me with fear in his eyes. it was exactly the same person i saw in the reflection, but totally clean shaven! now i know this sounds completely strange & that i may even sound crazy. but i can assure you that im neither delusional or suffer from any mental health problems. i tried to explain what had happened to my friend when she turned up, but she just looked at me very strangely.
this moment in my life has been playing on my mind now for a while. i really wish to able to understand what happened! for all i know, what happened could be totally insignificant (but something tells me it isnt). i feel now that at that time i should have at least spoken to the person, but i was too embarrassed to do so. i know now that the likelyhood of meeting that person again is near enough impossible.
i personally would just like some help understanding what happened.
please forgive me if i am wasting your time.

It is not possible for me to tell you why you had that vision. But, it is certain that there is a reason. As you know, everything has a purpose. If I were you, I would ask for God and Guru to help me understand things some time, if it is their will. I would also just allow the experience, without having to guess what the purpose is. If you are to know the purpose, it will more likely be presented to you, if you are not trying so hard to "figure it out." I would also hold the image of that person in the window, as you saw it. Hold the image and give it to the Guru, allowing what ever miracle needs to happen. Maybe that person's soul is yearning to be that image, and your prayer will some how help him. There are many possible explanations, but it is not for us to figure out. Just say a prayer, that Thy will can be done for this person and hold the image you saw in the window. That is what I would do. I hope that is helpful. And, if you never know the purpose of that image, that's OK too. Just send out the prayer and allow God and Guru to do their magic. GTKK
