waheguru ji ka khalsa ..

waheguru ji ki fateh...
i understand that sex before marriage is not allowed in our religion and i totally agree with it.... but i was just wondering that if two sikhs (male and a female) are in love before they are married... can they kiss just to show the love and respect.....and i dont mean like making out or anything ... just a kiss...

... and also i want to thank you for this wonderful forum.. it has helped me ALOT.... some of the questions that people asked were the same i had in my mind...

Kissing? I guess you can ask yourself these questions? Will this kiss lead to something else, which could disgrace my honour and how I feel about my self? Is my fiance pressuring me? Why? How long do we have until we are married? Will this kiss enhance our relationship in the way I want it, or will it cheapen it?

There are other things you can do to enhance your intimacy and need to show your affection for one another. Meditate together, read your banis together, give each other a foot massage. One beautiful meditation is to sit in easy crossed legged position, knee to knee across from each other. The left palm is facing up on the left knee with your partners right palm on top your your left palm. Your right palm is facing down on top of your partner's left palm, which is facing up. Arms are relaxed, both hands and relaxed resting on the knees. This can be done sitting on the floor, or you can sit in a chair, with the feet on the floor. Spines are straight. Then, pick a chant to do together. It can be easy, like long Saaaat Nams together, (Sat is chanted long for 6 beats and Nam for 3, then inhale and chant again), or Wahe Guru, or MulhMantra. These things will help you to connect on a very beautiful, intimate and meaningful way. Your souls will feel merged together with God and Guru. What could be more fulfilling than this?
