Sat Siri Akaal. Well, the first thing to do is NOT watch horror movies or TV shows. Clearly you are impressionable and you transfer the horror the show producers INTENTIONALLY put into the shows into your own active imagination and fear. While this is normal for a lot of people, the simplest way to stop your imagination is to NOT watch those shows! Put them out of your mind and do other things for entertainment, period.

To generally strengthen yourself and your psyche, you should do Jaap Sahib and Benanti Chaupai every day, the more often the better, frankly. Before you sleep, recite Kirtan Sohila and then recite the first slok of Sukhmani Sahib (I'll let you look it up, it will be a good exercise for you to go to Guru on this). Recite this slok for protection for at least 3 minutes before you sleep.

Finally, stop thinking you are surrounded by ghosts! Imagine yourself surrounded by white light and 10 GURUS before you sleep. This isn't worship of a person, it's a way of reinforcing that you are protected by Light and Beings of Light, not ghosts. OK?
Guru rakha,
-DKK
