WAHEGURUJI KA KHALSA ,WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH...

I have one question regarding bani .....
Which bani is read in Gurdwara when they start their daily routine?
My mother- in -law says that SUKMANI SAHIB BANI is read at that time.Is that correct?but according to me i think is JAPJI SAHIB BANI.because its the first bani of our first GURU"GURU NANAK DEV JI".
and i also want to know that why they start with SUKMANI SAHIB JI DI BANI instead of JAPJI SAHIB DI BANI?
Hope of get my answer of the question
Thanks in advance.......

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.
The first prayer of all Sikhs is Japji Sahib. However, in many Gurdwaras the bani sung before or just after Guru is brought out and put in prakash is Asa Di Vaar. Sukhmani is not typically done first thing in the morning as a part of a Sikh's routine.
Guru ang sang,
