Sat Sri Akaal My Fellow Sikhs,

Where do I start! You CANNOT disgrace the sikh religion like this. All I can say is that you are ignorant of the true purpose of the sikh practices and their true meaning. You are too caught up on humanity and forgotten how to save yourself! I can go on, but I do not wish to offend. They are done for the LOVE of God, and on the contrary are NOT shallow, they have great significance.

Sikhism is not about conversion and priding oneself of the outcome. You pride yourself on your informed education. Education can only take you so far. In Sikhism, you can read all the texts and you will still not find God. Sikhism is about EXPERIENCING God while you are alive (becoming a jivan mukt attained though singing God's praises in the daily 'shallow' practices!) and following God's Will which includes keeping your hair. I hope you will re-look at your faith and are inspired what I have said. Do not take offence, and please learn to let go of your ego, for your own sake.

Sat Sri Akaal,
Dalip Singh
