is aarti done in sikhism?... what do you mean by aarti? * it was mentioned in one of the replies. It said that after bhoj you do aarti, anand sahib and ardaas, .. what kinda of aarti? ....thanks

(REPLY) Sat Nam. the Aarti that is sung at the end of the Bhog ceremony is a beautiful traditional shabd you can find in the Amrit Kirtan. It starts: Gagan meh taal, rav chand deepak banay... (Loose transliteration) One translation begins: "In the sky's salver, the sun and the moon are the lamps and the stars with their orbs are the studded pearls..." SP
