hello

do you know how we go to the front page of sikhnet on the right there it say that THE SIRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB when you go in to it and read THE SIRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB in Engish is the world changed from the SIRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB
so is it ok to read in engilh guru granth sahib. beacuse some sit the information is worry not right. so if i read THE SIRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB in engish in sikhnet it will be true information. you know what i am trying to say.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. Different people at different times have translated the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Ideally, we would all understand the Guru's words in the original Gurmukhi, but if we do not understand Gurmukhi, then we can read a translation to get the meaning in English. there is nothing wrong with reading a translation.
