i'm just kinda curious about this question...lets jus say that person A does all the things that sikh must do, like read guru's teachings...and everything else but he doesn't have a high profile job and he's got enough time and he's pretty religious yet not very successful in life...and person B on the other hand is very successful, works hard create jobs for others and all that...but doesn't have time or doesn't do any "path"....so my question is, who's closer to god? A or B?....i mean no matter how successful you are in this life and no matter how hard you work...if you don't do "path", you still gonna go downhill?...and if you're not very successful yet very religious...does that mean you're closer to god than other person?....my friend says that if you work hard and treat people with respect and all that....it is same as doing "path"....or just by doing "path" is the best way to meet your goal and don't have to worry about being successful in this life....does god say "you know eventhough you were very su

ccessful in your life and worked hard and caused no harm to anybody BUT you did not preach MY name"...i'm really curious about this question...it may kinda sound stupid but i jus really wanna know your opinion....oh and another question....i don't know if its true or not...but my friend told me recently that i am supposed to see all the girls as my sisters....i mean i went crazy when he told me that....i hope he's wrong!....but i mean how is it even possible...i'm 21 yr old guy....and to be honest with you i can't see any girl as my sister....so does that mean all the girls that i've dated...were really my sisters but i dated them and now i'm a bad person?....if you're male answering this question...i'm sure you can understand....do you really think its even possible for a young guy to see girls as sisters...i can't even imagine that...and i'm yet to meet a guy who does that.....can you please clear these questions for me?...
thank you

Greetings to you in the name of God the light of every soul and in the Name of Guru the life of every Sikh.

Dear one, you cannot judge the spiritual person by material standards nor the material man by spiritual standards. They are both successful in their own realms. You and I cannot judge anyone.

If you dedicate your every act and thought to serving the creation of God and serve that God consciousness within yourself, you are in God consciousness. Being rich or having lots of material success is not a sign of being God consciousness. Seeing God within and around you is being God conscious. I think perhaps, that you are mixing up material plenty as a reward for thinking of God.

When a person takes Amrit they adjust their thinking to see and treat all women with the respect of a Mother, if they are elder to them, as a daughter if they are much younger than them and as a sister if they are peers. The one exception would be the woman that you are married too. This practice is to help you channelize your sexual expression to your marriage partner. This practice keeps you internally strong and helps you focus. If you see every girl you look at as a sexual object, your awareness is quite limited to your sexuality. You are much greater than this.

We are not taught to experience our totality in this Western Society. Our spiritual way of life in Sikhee does teach us about our balance and grace. There is much for you to learn and explore in the nonphysical realm of life.
