Why are Sikhs cremated?
------reply
Sat nam. As a reminder that the physical form is temporary, and to keep the spirit/soul from remaining attached to a dead body and the earth plane. Practically speaking, it is also a lot healthier for the planet, especially if the one being cremated had been very ill.
