I have seen many people with ek onkar tattos on there hands/body. i am wondering is it ok to have tattos in sikhy?

It is not OK to deface the body in Sikhee. Tatoos are not necessary. Better to repeat the shabd of Gurbani with your tongue. Let God' song be your tatoo.
