waheguru ji ki fateh!

Hello I have few questions.

Is the word Waheguru Sikh?? Who gave this Word?? As Waheguru is the Akal purkh, what does "wahe" means and "guru" added to it?

he=is
guru=guru

so WA he Guru ...Guru is Great. in this case referes to gurus and especially Siri Guru Granth Sahib for most conversations. Akal Purkh is GOD.
