waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh

hi, 3 dayd ago i took amrit and thank the lord everyday for the blessing. However i dont know if im being stupid but on accident i consumed a chocolate, which later on when i had nearly finished it contained egg. Indtad of throwing it away finished the small peice, thinking that why waste it. Now i feel really bad that i knew what i was doing and still consued it :( I talked to my mother but she told me there is nothing wrong in that, it was an accident and i talked to a Giani at the gudwara and he told me to do ardaas to waheguru and ask for forgivness. WHat do u think of what i did and would i need to take amrit again. I know i sound stupid and i know deep down im forgiven but will i need to take it again for that or no>?? Also before i took amrit i didnt find out foods i could eat or not as i took amrit purely for the love of God, and the gurus. CAn u tell me what you guys eat and drink...eg liek chewing gum?? no right! etc

Thanks

(REPLY) Sat Nam. You are not stupid, you are sincere and want to do the right thing. I believe your mother and the Giani have given you good advice. However, if you totally feel guilty (which I don't think is necessary) you may consider taking Amrit again, but my personal opinion is that you don't have to. Start reading labels on packaged foods, so that you don't mistakenly eath something that you want to avoid. As for the diet. We eat a diet of fruits, nuts, vegetables, grains, dairy products, (NO FISH, NO MEAT, NO FOWL.) In other words, we don't eat anything that had a mother, or that when alive could run, fly, or swim away from you! I hope this helps. Blessings, SP
