I have a simple question. I know there are four Bajjar Kurehts that a SIkh shouldn't do but what if u matutbate after taking Amrit. Is this a Kurehat and do u have to take Amrit again? What should be done in this kind of situation?

Sat Siri Akal Ji.

No, masturbation is NOT a kurehet after you have taken Amrit.

I have copied two replies here that have already addressed your question. See below.
Please use searchword "masturbate" in Youth Forum to look for positive techniques to control your sexual desire. Look especially for "Sat Kriya."

It's not healthy in general to masturbate. It weakens your sexual organs and can eventually lead to impotency. As far as Amrit is concerned, anything that goes against the natural flow can never be compatible with the Amritdhari lifestyle. Chanting God's name makes your energy flow upwards besides balancing your emotional and spiritual elements. It would be good if you can hold on until you get married.

There are several factors at work here. I didn't see the word 'excessive' anywhere. Let us be honest, even some married men (and women) masturbate sometimes. If it is an addiction, and you seek sexual pleasure over and over, then the thief of lust will steal your concentration, your steadiness and your patience, and yes, it may also cause sexual malfunction through the psychological addiction. Occasionally, it is not a big deal. But be aware that if practiced to excess, the brain is deprived of ojas and the grey cells are damaged. In general where sex is concerned, it is better to be moderate and controlled. You do not have to retake your Amrit vows. You simply need to redirect your mind by meditation on the Guru's bani and be as physically active as possible.
