Vaheguru Ji ka Khalsa, Vaheguru ji ke Fateh

Hi Paji,

I can understand your concern regarding baldness, it is on the increase due to the fast paced and stressful life we lead. I have tried a million cures but my what works is NATURAL REMEMDIES. Do not get caught up in buying expensive shampoos and conditioners. They will not help in the long run. Try following the steps below:

1. Comb your hair with a natural bristle (wood) brush or a wide tooth comb. First take the knots out with your fingers.

2. Stop using shampoos and conditioners, Wash your hair with SHIKA KAI AND BRAHMI POWDER. Use them alternatively. These are from natural herbs, they will cleanse your hair and leave it conditioned. After washing apply a bit of olive oil to your wet hair instead of a conditioner and leave it in. You can get it from indian shops, but you might have to shop around as I did (i am from uk)or get a relative to send it from India. I have been washing my hair with Shika kai, it leaves it shiny and nourished.

3. if you eat a mixture of the following powders it will reduce hair loss - haraar, behara and amla. They are hard to find in Uk, I had to shop around a lot to find two of them. Alternatively get your relatives from India to send it. They'll have more knowledge about it. The mixture of these powders is called trifla. Ask someone who has more knowledge about the quantities that must be consumed. I have not tried it yet, I am waiting to receive it from India.

4. when you wash your hair, leave it hanging down and make your way down to the tips. Do not gather it all at the roots and scrub. Gently massage your scalp with the fingers.

5. When drying your hair, do not put it in a bun, just wrap a towel round it while it hangs down.

6. Let your hair dry Naturally. NO DRYERS..

7. Eat black sholay, they are good for hair. Eat foods rish in iron, like spinach. eat healthily - look on the net to see which foods are good for hair.

8. Try taking silica supplements, you can get it from your local health store - takes a month to work.

9. Exercise to circulate the blood esp to your head. I do head stands, they are very good for your hair and skin. Do a headstand every morning on an empty stomach for a maximum of 3 minutes (count up to 500) and then lie down on the floor for 5 minutes to normalise the blood flow. Look at Yoga, there are some good asanas for hair.

10. Do not stress.

11. Try applying lemon and coconut oil to your scalp, gently massage it in. you can also apply aloe vera to your scalp, thats known to reduce hair loss. lemon and aloe vera wont make your hair greasy, they are very absorbent.

12. Check out this product on the net 'HAIRMAX LASER COMB' - Just type it into google.

13. As the moderator said, DO not use rubber bands in your hair and dont plait it tightly. be gently with your hair, do not pull it at the roots.

I HOPE THIS HELPS. IF YOU NEED ANY TIPS IN THE FUTURE JUST WRITE INTO SIKHNET, I WILL BE HAPPY TO HELP YOU. PS..THE MORE YOU STRESS ABOUT HAIR LOSS, THE MORE LIKELY IT IS TO OCCUR. TAKE THE PRECAUTIONS NOW BUT DONT LET THE STRESS AFFECT YOU.

:)
