Wahe guru ji ka khalsa, Wahe guru ji ki fateh!

In sikhism are there any restrictions against women showing off her body if she has not taken amrit? I have read that once a women has taken amrit she cannot wear clothes that show off her body, because it can provoke lustful thoughts and is dishonorable. I mean I am young so I enjoy wearing clothing in the summer like mini skirts and shorts , but to a certain length because I respect my body otherwise and I am not comfortable with wearing too revealing clothing. Just curious!

Thanks

It's not a matter of "restrictions" or rules! It's a matter of consciousness. You say you not comfortable with wearing too revealing clothing. Good. Miniskirts and makup and hairdos and blouses worn low and breasts up and all that will not get you anywhere. Your strength is not how well you can sell yourself. Your strength is your elevated spirit. It is in your face, not your body. When the face of the woman is so dynamic, so saintly, so pure and so nice, then a man doesn't even have the power to speak. Do you understand that you are the most perfect source of God to create divinity? Every man is born through a woman. Every saint, every sevadar, every man of God. Through divinity you can create identity. From identity you cannot create divinity. Who do you think you are? Look in the mirror. Look into your own eyes. What do you see? Live in your own living grace and radiance. You are Guru Dev Mata. You are Adi Shakti. You are Saraswati. You are the divine radiance of God.
