Where abouts did Sikhism actually start? Within your reply could you also include a map of wherever the place it started is please?

Also, why was Sikhism started and also, what disadavntages and advantages do Sikhs have if they decide to live in Britain?
Please could you reply as soon as possible.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. Are you writing a paper for school on this subject? Any excyclopedia can tell you that the Sikh religion began as students (called Sishyas) followed the teachings of Guru Nanak, who was born in 1469. As far a living in Britain, good grief, it's obvious that living in any country in which you were not born has disadvantages, and probably other advantages. You need to do some research about what life is like in England, (of which I have no first hand knowledge) and surely you can contact some Sikhs who currently live there. Read newspapers, get on the internet. SP
