Now my question is about saying akaal. I read that you are supposed to say akaal when some one dies to let their soul move on, so should you say this when a animal has dies, or a bug. Also can you only say this when sikh people have dies, is it ok to say it when others have dies, and is it ok to say it even when you are not in the presence of the thing that has died. For example whenever i watch the news they talk about the iraq war and who has died and i say akaal so any souls can move forward. Thanks alot you guys are great. One more question lol i read that if a sikh wears hats he will die seven lifes... what are your opinans about this . Personaly i think its kinda fanatic to act like that.
Ok this is very long, once again thanks alot and may Waheguru bless you

Sat nam. Chant akaal for ANY death, bugs or animals too. People of all stripes and colors and creeds as well.
I know that Sikhs are not supposed to wear hats. That said, it is not written in Siri Guru Granth or the rehit that a Sikh who does will dies 7 deaths. That part is nonsense. guru ang sang,
