SSA,

My first name is Roopkaran , just curious what does it mean . when i asked the same to my Mum , she said "Roop" is the prefix added to the name "Karan". Well i neither know the meaning of Karan nor the meaning of the complete word Roopkaran . if possible , could u enlighten me with the meanings of the names Karan , and Roopkaran respectively
