Gurfatehji,

I have been reading ur Q since some time, Actully some of them answer my case, so I decided to ask u this Q. I did ask once earlier another Q on the other religion and Sikh principles in marriage, but i never recieved any reply. Hope I recieve this time.

My Q is What is GuruSahib's hukam on the Environment and the sustainable development. AS I m a strong believer of Gurushibs experiences, He have answeres for all the problem of society. I am sure for this also he says something, me being an ignorant sikh, doen't know abt it.

Gur Kirpa Karan,
Surjeet Singh

REPLY:

I suppose if you took the teachings from how you should treat your body and apply them to the environment. We sikhs are supposed to protect all humanity and take positions of higher social value. In that case we should be very pro environment and assist helping keep our planet clean. The harimander sahib had an additional value of making that part of Amiritsar clean and more hygenic.
