Veerji,

Sat Sri Akal,

Id' like to know what country are you from as I know quite a few Amrit Dharis Sikh Pilots in the Indian Airforce, and if your in the US i am afraid you will not be allowed to serve unless you take things up to the court as the US army has a Grooming law passed sometime in the early 80's thus there are only 2 turbaned Sikhs in the American Army now, they were seriving before the law came in so they arere allowed to continue wearing turbans.

Well I am intrested in flying too, I wonder have you ever thought about commerical flying, it give you a good pay and you wont be told to cut your hair.

Do fill me in on the details my email add is [email protected]

And remember Guru Jee wont ever forsake you, he'll show you the path.

Guru Rakha

Angad

Dear Angad,
Sat SIri Akaal. Please contact Airline Pilots Association or search the web for such groups and find out what the requirements and standards are for becoming a pilot, and if turban is 'approved' or not. This is not something Sikhnet moderators generally track. The standards in the USA for pilots might be different than those of Europe or elsewhere, so you have a lot to check out.
Guru ang sang,
-DKK
