Sat Sri Akal, i wanted to know Pahare or pathare ( not sure how it is spelled) is this one of the jatt caste. for example: we have Dhillon or Gill, etc.. is Pahare on the same level.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. As Sikhs of the Guru, we are all Singhs and Kaurs and by the Grace of God and Guru, we are Khalsa. Therefore, we recognize no caste. If you are interested historically in these distinctions, I suppose someone may know, but the whole concept of higher and lower is so apalling and so insulting to what our Gurus taught, that I hope you really do not need the information you asked for.
