Vaisakhi and Baisakhi are both totally acceptable. Using a V or a B depends upon the part of India one lives. It is true that Baisakhi means crutches...but it is also used in some parts of India and the US as the Birth of the Khalsa.
April 14th is the date used for the Lunar Calendar, which is the calendar that the SGPC uses. April 13th is according to the Solar Calendar, which is the modern calendar. As, again, both are correct. Blessings. GTKK
