Just curious...

Is it possible that if there is a God, that one may ask for after the end of this life non-existence? What if the duality of life is got a grip upon a person, that they believe that no matter how much they want, they will never in this life attain true spirituality, or on the other hand, because as all religions say, including Sikhism in a sense, that you will go to hell(many definitions) if you do not believe in God. My friend is a very scientific and religious individual. But the duality that exists in the mind can not be overcome. He would rather not exist as is the current thinking in todays modern idea of what happens after one has passed their time in the existential void. In both ways neither God makes sense, neither "the origin of species", in essence a duality. So intertwined within the mind that one cannot escape from it. My friend admits on one hand Had all the saints of God not come to the world, then there would be right to say that God is Not. But on the other hand "believe in God or go to Hell without evidence" and the proof that things naturally evolve as can be seen in a lab analysis of bacteria as they take upon more and more complex forms. WE have discussed and heard so many times this dilemma, and He says that he does not wish for hell, nor heaven, non existence would be perfect for him. He disagrees with all religions, because they are all full of "bull****" as in they proclaim truths but leave the reader either in duality or blind to what they see before their eyes. He also dejects the rules within which We are all born sinners. According to Sikhism as he has said - of which he follows - he was once an animal and he somehow sinned during his many existences. And now he has to clean up his mess for some apparent reason that he has darkness stained upon him. It is really too complex to write into words, but in essence is he allowed to Not exist?
Thanks, An outsider

Dear Outsider,

I think what you have called yourself is the key to your dilema. You are looking outside of yourself and your intellect for your answers to life. Everything lies within you. Your mind will only take you down a complex road of duality and confusion. You must experience God from within you. How do you do that? Read path, meditate, do yoga, breath, play music, paint, dance, run...do what ever it is that will take you out of your mind and get you into yourself. God is within you. Go within and "experience" not "think about" the One. Your confusion and duality will cease, because you have experienced for yourself. Blessings on your Journey. GTKK
