Sat Shri Akal!

Electromagnetic BS! The human body EM is in no way affected by the Kada. Go read a good physics book! The very low EM generated due to the motion is not enhanced by the Kada in no way. Guru Ji meant the kada to be a part of the identity of the SIKH and that is what it signifies. Dont give sikh children stupid reasons for keeping their identities. Rather...encourage virtue and pride in sikhism...this is more effective. Its discipline that counts not Electromagnetic reasons for wearing a Kada. Trust me .. i have a PhD in Electromagnetics and Power so please dont give silly reasons anymore. Also in response to another post that said that tying a turban keeps the 26 bones in the head together is BS! If this were true all non sikhs would have their brains falling out right now or their heads caving in.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa
Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.

Sat Sri Akal!

It is true that Guruji gave us the kada for our identity, but it also provides functions than just that. Identity is not created by wearing or not wearing certain things. If one of the moderators says that the kada is for EM fields, don't take it to mean literally the EM fields. Humans generate all types of signals that we as engineers can not detect. How can a machine detect fear (like in a dangerous situation)? No machine can do that, yet humans are able to become afraid and then protect themselves. There are a lot of things that humans can do that machines can not.

I would also like to say that a PhD in electromagnets does not give one Gian. Gian can only be given by the Guru's Kind Grace. We must all work on trying to attain Gian, and understand that any other type of education we get along the way is only temporary and will end when we die.

Gur Fateh,
HSD
