hello!

I m 22 yr old girl and i would like to know that is it right to have sex after engagement. I have been in love with a muslim boy about 2 yrs and also engaged. We have decided not get married until he earns enough and i have done masters in political science. I also want to get a good job before marrying him. I think it would be good for both of us and our future. Only problem is sex, you might understand that how difficult it is to avoid sex when u love someone so much. But in sikhism it´s not allowd before marriage, but we r engaged, so can u plz tell me if it is right or wrong.

thanx a lot

Sonia, I cannot tell you what is right and wrong. Only you can answer that for your self. Do you absolutely trust this person? If something happened and you didn't marry him, how would you feel about your self, knowing that you had sex with him? Once you have sex, your auras blend and it is almost impossible for a woman to get a man's energy out of her aura. When married this is a good thing, before marriage it may not be, especially if something happens and you don't end up marrying. It seems like there are many "ifs" still in your relationship, mainly jobs and money. Love alone can't pay the bills and provide for the kids. You have your whole life ahead of you. Evaluate how you can make sure that you do it right. Don't make choices you may regret later...and that may mar your relationship. Until you are married, a lot could happen to prevent it. Nothing is guaranteed. So, Sonia, I have given you some things to think about. Blessings in your decision. GTKK
