(REPLY) Sat Nam. Here's my comment, it's a personal opinion. When a person takes Amrit, it is a sacred vow. It is between that person and the Guru. If a person chooses to break that vow, it is still a matter between that person and God and Guru. I have nothing to say about it, even though I may feel sorry, or even "disapprove." It's not my place to judge how well someone else fulfills their commitment. How relatives decide to view the situation is their own personal choice. If they do not approve, they should not attend. Period. The Gurdwara is, as I understand it, open to anyone and everyone, whether they are Amrtidhari or not; even non-Sikhs can get married in a Gurdwara. Guru Nanak taught the ideal. How well we live up to that is an individual matter, for which we will each experience the consequences. SP
