Sat Sri Akaal,

I have a question related to our Karmas (Good/Bad) in our prevoius lives. Many a times I have heard that we pay for our previous Karams in this life. For instance, If I hurt someone in previous life , then someone may hurt me in this life! May be clearing my karmas. However, When he hurts me , is he not puttting up bad karam on himself, for which he might have to pay dearly.? And How come is this his fault, he is only clearing by bad karma? So don't you think its a perpetual circle which will never end???

regards,

With Dharam there is no Karam. Every action has a sequence and a consequence. It is Newton's third law of motion. "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction."

We escape from cause and effect by living in God's will. Then our own needs and desires fall away and every action is in harmony.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji - Pauri 2, Japji Sahib.
