Waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ke fateh,

I have a few questions that I would like some feedback on please. 1) Are there any specific paths one can recite for success in school, work, and life in general. Infact, can you direct me to an area that can explain what each of the paths in the Guru granth sahib mean, and what effect they have on different parts of our lifes. 2) What is the meaning of the name Sukhwinder? 3) What is the meaning of the name Gurwinder?
I appreciate you taking the time to answer these questions for me. I thank you for this invaluable service that you are providing to sikh youths such as myself.

God bless

Sat Siri Akaal.
1. Broadly speaking, Nitnaym Bani and Sukhmani Sahib will cover all aspects of your life. Sukhmani will help you attain meditative mind, which in Gurbani is the REAL key to having a successful life where you ably meet all its challenges. I also highly recommend you inquire about 2 books available via www.a-healing.com (1-800-359-2940 if you are in USA). The first is "The Psyche of the Soul" which is NItnaym with English translation, as well as a description of what each Nitnaym bani does for one. The second is "The Psyche of the Golden Shield: Words of Prayer, Words of Power". It is a collection of various Gurbani shabds and their purpose/effect in one's life. ALso includes English translation.
2. Sukhwinder = God of Peace
3. Gurvinder = Gur (Guru) + Inder (Indra or Supreme being), so it's like saying Supreme One or Supreme Guru.
Guru rakha,
