WAHEGURUJI

I WELCOME THE CONTRIBUTION BY ALL YOU PEOPLE IN RENDERING SUCH A USEFUL SERVICE FOR THE RELIGION. i have some doubts, i hope i can find enough help

With my acute preception what i have percieved is that religion favours the poor.even it is said that GURU milo garib. is it all true that making of wealth or maintaining a sound living standard like owning a car or a big house goes against the will of GURU. are rich people away from GURU?. can we lead a truthful gurusikh life only by being poor, scarificing our businesses, this materialistic world . is making of wealth a guilt act?
sardarji i may be a liittle rude in explaining myself but i cannot help myself in clearing these preceptions or misperceptions. this world stands out against the rich as if only they are responsible for the state of affairs,sardaji plz. help me to sail out of this confusion sopmetimes i find myself going to nuts thinking about all this

Guru teaches us not to be attached to the material world and to see it for what it is: a temporary stop over on our soul's journey. But we were put here to live in the world and that includes using things of the world to help us with our life. If that is a big house, fine. If that is a big car, fine.
Problem is not the house or the car, but our attachment to them over our attachment to God and Guru.

As Sikhs we learn to earn righteously by the sweat of our brow, and to share with others. So in our life we can share by helping others either with money or knowledge or inspiration. Guru tells us that life is pre-destined. Some are destined to be fanned and some have the destiny to fan others.

Don't waste your time by going nuts thinking about this! think of ways to live a creative life, have lots of things and help others.
