Summary of Question:Bowing B 4 Human Pictures

Well, this is not a question but rather a comment on previously asked question. As in the earlier reply one has said Sikh should only bow to 10 gurus and SGGS. I would like add here, what does a "BOW" mean, Is it just a respect which one has in his heart? or Bowing against some body's picture is believing in his teachings/ideology?. I think its just a respect. When i go to India and see parents, i bow to them touch there foots in respect. Its same way bowing to other Babas, if one bows to other BABAS in respect, then its not against Sikhism. Our SGGS contains the Bani of many saints, like Kabir, Rahim, Ravidas etc. So should we not bow them too. If any Baba teachs people what our Guru tought regarding Oneness of God, then bowing those babas in respect should not be problem.

Sat Siri AKaal. In the presence of Siri Guru Granth Sahib, it is still highly inappropriate to bow before anyone or anything else.
