HI, i have emailed you before and received a response, i have taken the advice given to me, but still find myself facing problems. I made many mistakes in my 30 years and i just recently realized what i was doing, in a nutshell

I have lied for yours, stolen money and out of jealously caused my husband to stop talking to his cousins and family.... i have appologized and my husband has forgiven me, but the reason I email you once again is that it has been over a year and i struggle with the fact that one of my husbands cousins and aunt refuse to tailk to him no matter how many times i ahve appologized, SO MY MAIN QUESTION IS HOW CAN I BE FORGIVEN IF 2 PEOPLE DON'T THINK I AM WORTHY OF BEING FORGIVEN THAT I MAY HAVE HURT WITH MY LIES, HOW DO I KNOW GOD WILL FORGIVE ME AND THAT I AM WORTHY OF BEING FORGIVEN, AFTER ALL THE BAD I DID? I FEEL LIKE SINCE I DID BAD THINGS I AM NO LONGER WORTHY

(REPLY) Sat Nam. So, 2 people don't think you are worthy of being forgiven. That is THEIR PROBLEM, and it is THEIR KARMA. Do you want to live the rest of your life letting their feelings rule you? It is very insulting to God to ignore the fact that God lives and breathes in you, and that you are a divine being who, in human form, has made some mistakes, for which you are sorry. End of discussion. In your prayers and meditations, bless those 2 people, send them love, and then move on! I am sorry to sound harsh, but I have to say that you have to stop wallowing in self-pity, because I think that's what you're still doing. God loves you, and if you are no longer doing anything bad, then build on that, and do extra seva, do extra path, and know that the past is GONE, it's OVER. And stop obsessing on it. You cannot change the behaviour and attitude of any other human being. None of us can. All you can do is live your life to set the best example of kindness, honesty, compassion, and service. May God bless you and give you peace of mind. Realize that it is your ego that keeps going over and over this PAST situation. Drop it. SP
